COPYWRITE
I'm a half Brazilian half Chilean creative copywriter with more than 15 years of experience within communication enterprises.
I have worked in both advertising agencies and in the independent professional business as a freelancer. I have experience with texts in English, Spanish, Portuguese & Italian.
As a creative director, my objective is to develop the concept of a campaign, to keep the pace of the project and its aesthetics. As a copywriter, my main goal is to convey the idea in the best clear and attractive way.
RESEARCH
I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Communication Design at the Design School of Politecnico di Milano, Italy. There I develop a research about media & design activism, visual resistance & social movements aesthetics. I've given workshops related to the production, history, and aesthetics of posters and alternative media. I've taught (at University level) aesthetics, history of art and media, creative processes in advertising, billboard banditry and sociology of communication. Currently, I am assistant prof. in Communication for Fashion at Politecnico.
ART & MUSIC
Since the age of 4 I am painting and illustrating. Since then, I participate on several exhibitions - Chile & Brazil - and took this aesthetic experience to my profession as an creative. In fact, that was the main reason I decided to study Advertising - it was the only way possible to put together social communication and visual arts. At the beggining of 2015, I've started THE CITY LINES PROJECT, where I am developving my art together with ambient electronic music. The project is on hold now, but you can still listen to some of the tracks!
